You don't usually hear "lush" and "tourist haven" in the same sentence, but Ocho Rios happens to be a verdant paradise and major cruise port. Nature and souvenirs —what's not to love?
- Jamaica: a study in oxymorons. Take Dunn's River Falls, where you're encouraged to climb up a waterfall. It can be done (and should be —it's fun!) but, oh, what a paradox.
- Being a third wheel is tough, even if you're a turtle. Charlie, the friendly 100-year old turtle who lives in the Couples San Souci Resort's mineral springs, mostly keeps to himself.
